It is such a joy for me to have a place to go share as I have in November. Being thankful is easy for me for I have much to be thankful for. I made my Wednesday meetings on the 2nd and 16th with the Senior Center here in our home town, great times. On the 12th it was a joy to go have a delicious breakfast with the men at Climax UMC. Buddy, Mary Ella and I shared about the Navajo mission work and our October trip. On Monday night, the 14th, we did it again at Cairo UMC Men's monthly meeting.
On the 13th I had the joy of preaching twice at my home church here in Donalsonville, GA.
Then on the 20th, I preached at Eclectic UMC as a fill-in for pastor Mark Osgood who is healing from a heart attack. Please continue to pray for Mark and Beth.
Missions to Navajoland in 2012
April 24th - May 1st—Our witness team that has gone on this date for the past 15 years will go again. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please contact us ASAP. Each person is responsible for their air plane ticket plus of $100.00 each to help with the rental vans and gas. You will need some spending money for food as well.
Other team trips are being planned to work on Roger's house. In early spring we need electricians, plumbers, and sheet rock people. If you are interested in going and/or taking a group to work, your help is needed. We also need finances for the project. Checks should be made to CHARLES DENNIS MINISTRIES.
Merry Christmas, Children!
Many thanks to the men of Friendship UMC in Donalsonville and the congregation of Attapulgus UMC. They have given 45 shoe boxes and $2,700.00 has been given in gift cards to the Navajo Children. Children on the Navajo Reservation will have a Merry Christmas!
