"A high and holy privilege." That's what Brother Charles says of his calling of God to be an Evangelist.

Recognized by his peers, the National Association Of United Methodist Evangelists, Brother Charles Dennis was one of two recipients of the Philip Award for 2001 in Washington. The other was the Reverend Franklin Graham.

In April 2001, Brother Charles had the honor of presenting Brother Franklin his award during a Franklin Graham Crusade in Tallahasee, Florida.

The Philip Award is named for the only man called an " Evangelist" in the New Testament.
